About Tanakaen
Strawberry Farm in Chiba, Japan
Tanakaen is a family fruit farm in Funabashi, Chiba. We have grown pears for about 50 years and opened our strawberry greenhouses in 2020. Ken, the owner, will welcome you — we use a translation app to help in English.

Questions
What if it rains?
No problem — strawberry picking is inside the greenhouses. You walk outside from the reception to the greenhouse, so please bring an umbrella. Rain is not a reason to change your date; if you decide not to come, the cancellation table applies.
I have a suitcase. Where can I leave it?
Large bags can’t go into the greenhouse. We can keep a few suitcases at the reception — please tell us when you book. If you can, use a coin locker at Tokyo, Funabashi or Narita station.
Can I book for today?
Yes — online booking is open until 10 minutes before each start time if there is space. For a last-minute visit you can also call us: +81-80-6338-0537.
